Groundhog Mountain Parking Overlook - Blue Ridge Parkway, MP 188.8.  High point (3,030 feet) affording a 360 degree view of the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.  Examples of various types of old chestnut rail fences.  Picnic area, comfort station. 

Mabry's Mill Restaurant and Gift Shop - Blue Ridge Parkway MP 176 (276)952-2947.  A historic water-powered grist mill, sawmill and blacksmith shop provide a view of pioneer life along the Parkway.  Self-guided tours.  Most photographed site on the Blue Ridge Parkway. 

Mountain Top Park - Tennis courts, picnic area, ball field.  Located on Highway 58 between Meadow of Dan and Vesta.

Round Meadow Camp Ground and Trout Lake - 10750 Squirrel Spur Road (276)952-2604.  Enjoy our quiet, shaded mountain camping amongst the beautiful laurels.  No fishing license needed.
